Make sure your account can use Google Drive. Work and school accounts may be restricted by an administrator. Also make sure you allow access to Google Drive on the sign-in screen.

Go to Settings > Google Drive > Destination and choose a folder created by OmniLift, or create a new one. You can move these folders anywhere in your Drive.

Select a file in Finder, choose File > Get Info, set “Open with” to OmniLift and click “Change All…”. This is set for each file type.

No. Only files that arrive in the conversion folders after you turn it on are converted. Files that are just saved again are not converted, and your original files are never changed.

Converting a file with the same name to the same destination updates the previous document (the URL stays the same). If nothing changed, the previous document simply opens and it doesn't count toward the free limit. If you edited the previous document in Google, a new one is created so your edits are kept. You can choose “Always create a new file” in Settings > General.

PDFs are not converted to Google Docs, because the layout would break. Choose “Upload to Google Drive and open in the browser” in Settings > File Types to upload them as they are and open them in Google Drive's PDF viewer.

Please email us to request a file type. Files with complex layouts may look different after Google converts them.

Go to Settings > About and click “Restore Purchase”. OmniLift Pro bought with the same Apple Account comes back.

Move OmniLift from the Applications folder to the Trash. To revoke Google access, remove OmniLift in your Google Account's Third-party apps & services.
